Out of China is a restaurant that was created in 2002 and is located in the heart of Barcelona, in the Eixample neighborhood. Managed by the Maitre d'Chenqui Wang they serve possibly the best oriental and asian cuisine in the entire city.
They feature a large variety of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes such as ravioli with duck and grilled foie, or the surprise of melted cheese in the noodles with prawns, and the crunchy fish with pine kernels and sweet and sour sauce, along with the traditional crispy duck, dim sum, etc.
This restaurant is a real treat for any amateur of oriental cuisine. A sampling menu is worth 18€, but it is not the only menu that is offered. There is also an entire vegetarian menu and a gluten free menu so that everyone can find what they like the most.
This elegant and stylish venue will make you comfortable and feel like you left to Asia for the evening thanks to these fine lamps that illuminate the tables and cast their light on the oriental motifs which decorate the walls, the subtle music and costume of the waiters, reminiscent of a cosmopolitan Shanghai of the 1940s
