Los Caracoles

Located in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic district is one of the city’s most historic restaurants, Los Caracoles. It was founded in 1835 by the Bofarull family and has since then been owned and managed by the family itself. These four generations have repeatedly delivered high quality Catalan food with deep charisma to the Gothic district of Barcelona.The name of the restaurant, Los Caracoles, comes from the restaurant’s most famous dish, caracoles (snails). Aside from snail, the menu offers a variety of dishes based on high quality traditional Catalan cooking.

I didn't try the snails, but I would really recommend the paella, which is great. The service is good and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. It gets busy so it's worth booking beforehand. I loved this restaurant
